The restaurant La Terraza del Casino in Madrid, Spain is one that brings a special blend of art and design to - Restaurant Design. The interiors has been designed by Spanish Designer Jaime Hayon, in which he explores the balance of aesthetic design by bringing the imaginative innovative kitchen of chef Paco Roncero, and connecting it with his personal style in harmony. The design boasts handcrafted detailing, and a sense of peculiar calm in the environment that encourages you to look around, and pay attention to the details that makes it unique.

Balaam House

I just adore this architecture..true it's modern..but a modern type of house that I adore! This is Balaam House designed by architects Arkhefield, located in Hamilton, Australia. The house combines elements of zinc, aluminum, concrete, rich timbers, and raw battening. A main center piece of the house is the cantilevered pool, that acts as a showpiece above the main entrance. Wow! Not just another piece of modern architecture..but one that's sustainable as well. With rain water harvesting, solar hot water, a passive cross ventilation, solar controlled glass, operable louvers, shutters and blinds on solar clocks (limiting the use of the A/C), thermal mass, and low maintenance, with recycled materials too. I just love the fact that its sustainable and beautiful modern architecture.

An open house is very important so that you don't feel crapped in a space. It is a four-bedroom resident with bathrooms, gym, an outdoor living room, indoor living room, outdoor pavilion, kitchen, dining, garage, large family room, garden with large terrace and fire pit. A beautiful house that's open, spacious, and with breath-taking views!

Toile de Jouy aka Toile

Toile de Jouy is a term that has survived time, history and fashion and has come to have a far broader meaning that it did in its origin. Once, the term was applied only to those fabrics that were created in the Jouy-en-Josas factory in France. These fabrics were intricately designed with mythological figures, flowers and fruits and birds, etc. (usually one color on a solid light background). Other images crept into the factories over time, and these included pastoral country scenes done in red, blue, purple or black monochrome and were labeled "toile de Jouy." It came to mean a style of print and not just the factory town where it was originated..

ORANGEEE

This room is by Healing Barsanti (via Zia Priven's website) It's fresh, it's chic, it's perfectly capturing that mixed use of patterns. They used the curtains to frame the doorway. The fresh green plants add a needed pop of an additional natural color, and the glowing chandelier reflects of the fabulous silver ceiling.

Welcome to Casa la Femme in NY. The floor is real grass?!? I think it is fabulous , and the over all look is very cozy and nice.. makes u feel like your somewhere else.
